Botox®

Botox® prevents and reduces signs of wrinkles, which form with facial expressions over time. Recommended especially for frown lines (between the eyebrows), crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles. It is also very effective for lifting and sculpting the eyebrows, treating vertical neck bands, correcting “sad mouth” (down-turning of the corners of the mouth), and improving lines around the lips and chin. It can be used for medicial conidtions like migrane headaches, tooth grinding, and excessive sweating (e.g. of the armpits). For maximum benefit injections can be repeated every three to six months.

Q: What Are the Possible Side Effects?

A: The most frequent side effect is a temporary headache but, conversely, Botox® can sometimes decrease chronic headaches. Occasionally, there can be temporary drooping of an eyelid or lowering of the eyebrows.
